A CSB is a community supported bakery. With this food model we can bake high quality sourdough baked goods with zero wasted food. The flours we get are from Cairnspring mills, freshly stone milled from Washington farmers. The grains are integral, organic and sustainably farmed. It all starts with the farmer and the health of the soil.

We want you to know where your food comes from and who makes your bread, creating a deeper sense of community and keeping the traditions of real bread alive.

We package our breads in paper bags and you are welcome to store it in there in a draft free place in the kitchen. The optimal way to keep your breads fresh are in a linen flax bag or towel. They will keep for a few days before losing some of their moisture, where as you can then toast it, spritz it with water and rewarm, make croutons, bread crumbs, french toast, etc. These breads keep longer than store bought breads and don’t require storage in plastic bags. If you would like to store for longer, slice it if needed first, then wrap in freezer safe material and it will keep for about a month.
